Revaleiland

On July 23, 2020, Luke Blom opened the doors of DOQ Barbers at Revaleiland 500. Located within the vibrant setting of The July Boat & Co hotel, we took our very first steps. The combination of a barbershop with the hospitality of the hotel quickly proved to be a smart move. 


It was here that the philosophy still central to everything we do took shape: creating a space where you don’t just come in for a haircut, but where you’d gladly spend the entire day. 


The concept caught on, and the experience we built here became a guiding principle for our further growth. Today, Revaleiland has evolved into our headquarters – the foundation upon which DOQ continues to grow.

Houthavenweg

Just a few minutes from our original location lies our second salon, at Houthavenweg 109. The short distance might raise questions, but our vision is clear: the Houthavens area has strong potential and continues to grow rapidly. At the same time, demand at Revaleiland had exceeded our capacity, making expansion a logical step.

This second location offers space for new clients and also strengthens our internal operation. The salon serves as a training location and meeting place for our barbers. In collaboration with hospitality partner You Daily, we continue to shape and refine the DOQ experience.

Rijnkanaalkade

Our ambitions extend beyond the Houthavens. In Amsterdam East, along the Amsterdam Rijnkanaalkade, we opened our third salon. Overlooking the water, with boats passing by and runners along the quay, this location offers a calm, neighborhood-oriented atmosphere.

Here too, the salon serves a local function, with a personal approach tailored to the residents of Cruquius Island and the surrounding neighborhoods. This location marks a new phase in our development and reflects our commitment to establishing strong roots in every part of the city.
